Calvin Hollingworth grew up in the north east corner of Birmingham in a family house that was always a mad mix of sounds. Rock, Classical, Soul and everything in between all went into the musical melting pot. He later studied music at Newcastle Uni, then began to teach and play for a living. At this time music and faith began to meet up more and more - leading to 5 years spent touring the UK with the Christian arts trust Saltmine. After that period Calvin moved on to London for a happy 5 years of song-writing, recording sessions, live playing and working as music and worship director at a central London church. Getting married to Cecily, life has come full circle and Calvin's back in his native Sutton Coldfield learning to be a dad to Freddie and Laurie. Calvin loves reading, hanging out with family and friends, sampling real ale and following The Baggies (the one and only West Bromwich Albion!)
